The Cortijo Narváez Resort is located in one of the most beautiful natural settings in Andalusia: in the heart of the Sierra de Baza. Situated at an altitude of 1,390 metres, its facilities offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside of incalculable natural beauty. The old Cortijo de Narváez was the most representative of the north face of the Sierra de Baza, although there were many good ones in this area. However, its location, in the natural pass towards the Sierra, its springs, its abundant meadows and having the best cortijo-house, have given it a special attraction to the area since ancient times. It is not in vain that it was first a farmhouse, then a Forestry House and then the Park's Reception Centre with all its services and facilities. The farmhouse that survived until its conversion to a Park Centre was built in the 1920s, and is today the only existing tourist complex in the Sierra de Baza Natural Park.
