NARVÁEZ

NARVÁEZ

An accessible route through pine forests, with the sights and sounds of nature, ideal for enjoying the autumn rutting and the tranquillity of the surroundings.
This route is suitable for all those with mobility problems and for wheelchair users, complying with all the accessibility requirements for disabled users. The path runs between stretches open to the landscape and others in the shade. During the autumn we can witness the added spectacle of the "berrea" (rutting). It starts about 400 metres before reaching the Narváez Visitor Centre along the asphalted track that connects with the motorway. Next to an old quarry there is a car park with accessible parking spaces. We walk through reforested pine woods towards a small wooden bridge, over which we cross this small ravine called Narváez or Casimiro. Our path continues along the Narváez complex, a nature classroom and visitor centre, until we enter another ravine, the Peral ravine. During the ascent, if we keep silent, we will be able to listen to the song of the birds that take advantage of this shady and cool area. The end of the path will be the Fuente de la Taza.
