FLORANES - ARREDONDO
A linear path surrounded by pine forests and water areas, ideal for enjoying the freshness in summer and the colours in autumn, with traces of history.
This trail starts at the old Floranes forest house. It is linear, so you should bear in mind that you have to return along the same route. Although the landscape is dominated by repopulated pine forests for most of its length, we cross several areas with water: Plaza ravine, Petronila ravine and Bodurria stream where we can see typical riverside vegetation. A pleasant surprise both in summer for its freshness and in autumn for its colour. In a practically unpopulated environment you will find traces of fairly recent human presence: old farmhouses, mills and even a lead smelter. From Floranes there are three more trails, so you can complete the day by following any of these other routes.
