SENDERO PRADOS DEL REY - FILÓN VIOLETA
Recorre un entorno natural único con formaciones geológicas impresionantes y una antigua ruta minera, perfecta para senderismo y ciclismo.
Sendero circular del Entorno Minero Santa Bárbara, comienza y finaliza en la zona de aparcamiento habilitada en los Prados del Rey. Desde el inicio del recorrido nos encontramos en un entorno natural dominado por las formaciones geológicas denominadas calares, llamadas así por la naturaleza calcárea y blanquecina de sus cumbres y afloramientos rocosos.
El sendero discurre en un primer trazado por una antigua pista de extracción minera desde los Prados del Rey hasta cruzar la cabecera del barranco de Relumbre, donde comienza una subida hasta llegar a la antigua explotación minera Filón Violeta.
El sendero a la vuelta comparte el tramo de pista forestal con el sendero Prados del Rey - Minas de la Cruz, en concreto desde el Puerto de Las Palomas, por lo que en este último tramo podemos encontrar vehículos circulando por él.
